I figured some of you were interested as to what brushes I use on a daily basis. Some are new in my routine some are old. For eyeshadow application I typically use Mac, I still have many considering I was once a freelance makeup artist and they've lasted me super long. The Morphe and Sigma brushes are new in my routine and I have been loving them! Especially the duo fibre. I listed them below, hope this helps.
Blush - Anastasia Beverly Hills (no number on brush)
Contour - Anastasia Beverly Hills (no number on brush)
Foundation - Morphe Brushes (M427)
Concealer - Morphe Brushes (M436)
Highlighter- Morphe Brushes (M310)
Crease(eye) - Morphe Brushes (M310)
Crease(eye) - Morphe Brushes (M139)
Crease(eye) - Morphe Brushes (M412)
Crease(eye) - Mac (210)
Blending - Mac (224)
Smudger - Sigma (E21)
Eyeliner - Mac (210)
Notice I love crease brushes haha, shadow must always be blended!

DeleteHi Amrezy! So excited that you've decided to start your own blog and I'm loving it so far! Would like your on advice for someone who wants to get started into doing makeup (more as on their self than on people) as to what products would you recommend for beginners, etc. I'm afraid of applying make-up and looking a complete fool.
ReplyDeleteWell start off little by little, no need to go spend a fortune on makeup. Try the basics first and then start moving up once you get the hang of putting it on. Watch youtube videos to learn tricks.
DeleteI watch a tons of make up videos on youtube. Pratice makes perfect as they say, lol. Thanks hun! Keep up the wonderful blog :)

ReplyDeleteHi, first off I am a huge fan of your work- you're timeless, and a genius when it comes to all things beauty and fashion. NEXT, sometimes when I blend a lot, I find I lose the color intensity and it all becomes one big color...does that ever happen to you and what are your tips for avoiding that?
ReplyDeleteHey amrezy !!!for starters like me in makeup, we buy cheap brushes like the professional sets sold on amazon.i use that always and they actually not bad. Pls does your brush determine your makeup/how good it will look

ReplyDeleteHey gorgeous! I noticed for the foundation brush you wrote M427 but as I looked online it came up as a tapered duo blush brush. it looks nothing like the brush in the picture... am I doing something wrong orrr is that the brush? lol
ReplyDeleteHey Love! I was wondering if since, you've come across any other Morphe brushes similar to the M139? I love that brush and have 3 so far, lol. I was looking for some in the exact same shape, some that are same size, and some that are a bit smaller-all with that same wonderful shape that the M139 has?! Thanks so much!
