How to achieve a natural glowing look

It feels like I haven't written a post in forever! But I'm back! I figured I would do a post on natural glowing skin. As some of you already know I am a huge fan of radiant, dewy skin. Not only does it look youthful but it truly accentuates your features. I may have said that before so forgive me lol. I used very few products for this look, sometimes less is more. I typically achieve a glow by using powder highlighters which are known to appear slightly heavier, but for this look I'm using a liquid highlighter. Reason why I chose this specific liquid highlighter is because it blends into the skin in a way thats not too noticeable. It still gets the job done without leaving a trail of makeup or looking cakey. I really love this Gerard Cosmetics BB plus illumination creme. I do suggest mixing it with your foundation or even just a moisturizer. If you mix it with your moisturizer it will give you a beautiful healthy glow, if you mix with a foundation it will offer coverage with the addition of the glow. Its totally your choice but I still wanted some coverage therefore I used my Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. Ok so first I applied my moisturizer, I didn't include it in the photos but feel free to use your own daily moisturizer. Then I sprayed my face with Mac's Fix+. I applied my foundation with a damp beauty blender as shown in the photo above. I then applied a fair amount of the BB plus illumination creme on my Morphe Brush M436, I started stippling the product onto my cheek bones, bridge of nose, cupid's bow, brow bone, décolletage and a hint above the brow. Finished the look with another spray of Mac Fix+. Applied my favorite mascara, (Too Faced "Better Than Sex") and a lip balm. And there is this! I actually really like this look because its so effortless and soft, let me know what you guys think!

  8. Your makeup looks flawless as always. Since you've indicated that you have dry skin. I have really dry skin as well. I find that my make up always creases into my laugh lines. What would you suggest, to combat that?

    1. Honestly smile lines are inevitable, no matter what I've tried they're always visible. Only thing that will mask them is fillers but then you always have to keep up with it

    1. I am exactly the same, my t-zone is oily but my cheeks and chin are really dry! I normally put more moisturiser on my cheeks than I do my t-zone and it works for me!

    2. I'm the same. I was advised to use two separate moisturizers. One with more emollient for the dryer areas. Or apply heavier moisture to those spots. And drink more water

I really want to know how you do your makeup so that your face and neck or the same skin shade? Especially when taking pictures with the flash. It seems like my face is always five times lighter than my neck.

  49. Hey Amrezy,
I stumbled upon your Instagram page about year or so ago and fell in love with the looks you create! Your a great artist, but it has me loosing my mind since i cant find any turtorials. I have been looking everywhere for a video tutorial on how you do your foundation. I'm 22 and been struggling A LOT with applying it, getting it to stay, having it melt off, cake up, crack, having it over accentuate pores and fine lines ecetera. I feel like I've been trying to do all the right things but nothing every works. I do my makeup jst to feel really crappy about it 4 hours into the day. I look like a freaking mess, but I love makeup and that glowy look. even though i have oily/combination skin. I was wondering if you could recommend a good tutorial or could possibly do one yourself. I use primers moisturize and all that good stuff. I just cant figure it out. Rescue me Amrezy please.
